Here's a few of our Spooks.
I know Canalman has more pix and will post when he gets home.
Thanks for asking.

Can you comment on the action of the plug and how it's most effectively fished? The flat sides are cool. I'm just curious if that makes the action alot different than rounded spooks.

Its a very reactive plug... and it casts a lot better than most spooks. It stays upright and because of the flat sides, you can get it to walk tightly or slow your "rhythm" down and get a wider "searching" look. They work pretty well. They'll be available at the MSBA show next week.

They look tastey guys!

Thanks. Sounds good to me. I'm sure I'll end up picking up a couple.

Nice Dave and Dave :btu:

I can't believe how close that is to an idea I was working on myself, I have an idea on how to weight it and have not field tested them yet.

Have they got your rubber too?

PLASTICPIRATE 03-16-2006 04:29 PM

Are any going to make their way down to any Connecticut shops?

Canalman 03-22-2006 03:57 PM

Rubber soon I hope... go ask about them at the shop :faga:

We're in Rivers End now.... any suggestions for other CT shops???

Slip.... I can shed some light on weighting if you'd like.:hihi:

Uh oh Karl, once you use rubber it's like going to the dark side. Once you do you will never be the same. Personally, I have always been into rubber! Larry's beach can really be good with long black rubber stuff but don't tell Larry.

Stratford Bait and Tackle would be great. And the owner Chris is a real good guy.

Canalman 03-27-2006 09:59 AM

Flap, I still have some unused bassmaster rubber, when he poured a few. :D... I did the Slick Willy's for a while, and I still have some much loved ledgerunners.
rubber, plastic, live bait, dead bait, wood... it's all good, I ain't married to any method.

But, I need some D&D... Black :)

And, sometimes I fish ------ beach, or ******* beach, and I'm all alone :D.. gawd, I love weeknights ;)
