NIB 03-18-2006 06:36 PM

Did the no power thing with my last van. the only thing I miss is being able to roll down the passenger window without leaning over to grab the handle.Like when someone wants to talk to u an they are on the passenger side.on a good note U learn to sign pretty quick.I don't miss relacing the power motor for the window on the drivers side.
Good Luck.sounds like a nice truck.except its not a Ford.
:D

Nice job,
When will you be accepting applications to fill that extended cab? :laughs: :laughs:

nightfighter 03-19-2006 06:53 AM

Larry,
You going to spray the bed? Rhino is good. Cap? I got the big heavy rubber pan for the back of the Tahoe, cuts down on mess. Next for you will be rodracks, both inside and up front, compressed air tank stowage, and by all means, don't forget the seat covers.......

Raven 03-19-2006 07:00 AM

yeah man....

Forest Green.....eh? great choice for color....
warm in the winter and cool in the summer....

I do lots of fabricating, as in making rod racks & hitches for front or rear so you can mount your cooler rack :wavey:

NIB 03-19-2006 09:33 AM

Mkae sure u stay out of his shop.
except for rod racks that is.

beamie 03-19-2006 09:33 AM

Larry,

I you can, spend the $300-$400 on a Rhino or Linex, you won't be dissapointed.

Let's hear about your buying experience. Did you get a decent deal, no hassle, what dealer? Any gimmies?

Karl F 03-19-2006 09:43 AM

Congrats BF
I have a bed liner, wish I had the Rhino or linex, worth looking into.
liner is too slippery, and, to tell you the truth, I really don't want to know what it looks like under it, after 8 years....get a good underspray too, I understand there is a good zeibart guy up around Brockton, he did a real good job on the undercarriage of my friends F250 3 years ago, trucks on the beach 3-4 days a week 8 months a year, and it's still rust free.

How big you planning on going with the sneakers? They can recalibrate your computer, if you go way oversize, so your shift points, speedo, and stuff are accurate.

Best of luck with it, I'm sure you will get many years of enjoyment out of it.

Friend of mine just picked up the same truck, Chevy, forest green ex-cab, short bed 4X4, gotta wicked good deal.
Hope you did as well.

BigFish 03-19-2006 05:06 PM

It was an advertised special in the paper at Best Chevrolet.....$21,906.00 I think it was.....V-8 Automatic, custom cloth interior, am/fm, A/C. Got there...they said they only had the one truck in white but I had scoped the lot before hand and found many of the same optioned trucks in other colors so I stonewalled them into giving me the green at the same price! Green or I go home......they gave it to me.

Goose 03-19-2006 05:14 PM

sweeeeet dude.

Squid kids Dad 03-19-2006 05:14 PM

BF ..Good job..You can just about name your price with in reason..Enjoy it

NIB 03-19-2006 05:19 PM

Wow thats a great price on a 4x4.
I wanted to ask but thats not polite.
U know me the king o' kindness.
