2kw radar mounting ????
 

Folks:
I recently purchased the Raymarine C70 w/ 2kw radome. I need to mount this on my SeaPro 206 center console (w/o a t-top or radar arch). I would like to do this as cost effectively as possible.
I am thinking about mounting somehow on the console, so the mount will need to be approx 3.5-4 ft long (to have at a safe distance overhead).
Any thoughts, suggestions or photos will be greatly appreciated.

You'll have to install it on some type of pole, to get it above your head, so it won't drive you blind. You'll have to figure out where and how you can put a pole (a CCA 4X4 should do). Don't forget to use a wdge under the radome so that its level when you are up on plane.
