claim abandoned boat??
 

Perhaps a silly question....... does anyone know if there is a maritime law regarding claiming abandoned vessels? Very curious because of the sailboat I have seen for months laying on its side in a certain river in a certain tourist town in CT.

OOOps.......meant for scuppers.

i believe i saw that same boat on craigslist and they said something about going to the local fire dept. Hope that helps out.
