Minn Kota cavitation plate mounted

Does anyone have one of these cavitation plate mounted Minn Kota's? Looking for opinions on it, Thanks..Joe.

I suppose they are fine for trolling deep enough water. Since you're required to keep the motor down they are not much benefit for fishing rocky or shallow areas.
