Ribonfish or Eel - you decide
I saw these in FL a couple weeks ago - I guess they're used down there to go for king macs. I thought they may make a good eel imitation. Anyone ever used them??

I have looked at them a few times and think they would make a good eel sub. for trolling. Only thing is the price is a bit high so if Clammer gets on the boat put them away so the BLUES don't get them.:crying:

King mackeral love to eat ribbonfish
those look very similar to an eel but I bet they cast like crap. better off with a rigged eel or the new rubba |
I just saw those in Meltons for I think $17.

Though you could fish it off a breachway or good inflow outflow somewhere. |

They dont look bad but why have three treble hooks? I think 2 j hooks on the back would be fine

Funny...I was just thinking the same thing looking in Melton's last weekend. Hard to tell until you have it in your hand and try to cast one.
