Shad Darts
Anyone know of a place in Mass to get shad darts?
Al Gagliarducci of Gags International makes them in Agawam.
Thanks I will check out Al Gags
Kay at Surfland bait & Tackle has them.
I'm pretty sure I've seen them at #^^^^&'s if you can't make it to any of the Local B&T's
Thanks TDF, #^^^^&s would be alot closer for me.
Call your local shop if they don't have them they can probably get them.
I get mine at Pete's Gun Shop in Hudson NH. |
The #^^^^&'s here sells them....but being so close to the ct river and dam the would have to be dumb not to.
There was a little shop a few years ago that sold custom made ones (they were NICE) but they have since closed...wish I could find them again...or at least remember who made them??!!! They will be here SOOON>! poor mans tarpon:hihi: |
Sabliki herring rigs with a small bucktail trailer work well too depending on the size of the shad....
Go to the boat launch in S-Hadley, MA. during shad season. There is an old guy the sells some real nice ones out of the back of his truck. Don't know his name, but they seem to be well made and a ton of colors!!
There is a tackle shop / fly tie place in Kingston, MA on 3A by the Charlie Horse Restaraunt. I can't think of the name. He has a wide selection. I'll post if I get the name
