When do you go into Vampire Mode?
 

For me it's mid-late May. Anyone start hitting the night tides earlier?

I usually break night for the first time this week. Since I'm annually on vacation during this week.

I love fishing _______ _______ I've nailed more than a few 50's at _____ _ ____ - ____ too.

I think the best bet though is _______ on ___ __, at __:__ .

My best night there I got over 100lbs of fish all on a _______ ____

Happens the same time every year.

I may do some trial as weather gets warm.
But I'm out there in ernest starting just before the full moon in may, or when the dandilions really start whichever comes first.

One night - about 15 years ago - I was at an outflow in Rhody on May 5th and a who's who of RI Surfcasters were there - all getting big fish. I never would have known about it except for an invite.
But usually I don't switch over until the 15-20th of May.

I start May 15th most years, this year maybe earlier though

Mid May for me, but i go into full vampire mode after i bang that first fish over 20lbs, i switch over almost instantly.:uhuh:

mid may or as soon as I hear there are better fish around what ever comes first.

I will wait for 50-51 degree water to be in full assault.

first heat wave..like a hot week or 2 .. time to go nights after that for me..
