The people of this country IMHO are getting what they damn well deserve. We don't vote. Iraqis vote more than we do percentage wise. AND risk death to do so. Even the people of France will put up a major ruckus when their government tries to screw them. FRANCE!! All we do is piss and moan and in the end say "Well. OK..." We have no real Healthcare, only Bluecross chains that keep us working jobs that screw us, too. It's high time to start kicking the crooks out and get what our taxes pay for. The whole situation pisses me off to no end! Grow some friggin' hair , America!!!

I'm sure this will piss off a few people but then maybe they will start doing something. Yes I beleive it's time to organize , educate and demonstrate. These are our rights that NO ONE except wackos are doing. Its time for everyone to hit the streets and let OUR government know that its time to change or they will be changed. Its WE THE PEOPLE not the lobbist or the oil companies country. As long as we leave it up to the extreme leftist or liberals or what ever you want to call them we will be screwed. It time for Mom, Dad the kids to get out there call congress write letters - let them know we're PISSED. A lot of people critized the movements of the 60's but IT WORKED for equal rights the war . We have the POWER we just have to get off our asses and do it. A couple of million people hitting the streets of washington will get their attention (and I'll wind up on a watch list - I'm sure it wouldnt be the first time) but if WE don't do something besides rollover and spread our cheeks we deserve it.
Our voting record sucks compared to other countries yet we bitch the most. We need to get all our friends relatives everybody you know to vote in the mid term elections and vote a few of these bastards out, that will start to make them worry. If you don't vote don't Bitch!!!

Well, given that there's little substance behind that statement I'll give you something else to chew on...

In 1990 the Oil and Gas industry's campaign contributions were about 62% to Republicans and 39% to Democrats.

That held until the GOP took congress when is slipped to about 75% to Republicans and 25% to Democrats.

Ever since Bush has held office it's been at about 80% to 20%.

This year it's sliding ever further to the GOP at about 84% to 16%.
