The body of one of the missing URI students recovered
Some of us have discussed this online and off, where the tides were that day and what may happen if those students were lost and the possibility of anglers finding them now that fishing is kicking in full bore. A lobsterman has found one of the bodys near Pt Jude Light. As anglers, please keep an extra eye open frm the Narragansett shore south and west...

Well, there is a clue that the water is warming. The water needs to reach a certain temperature at depth to re-start the decomposition process and the gasses that it creates which cause bodies to rise to the surface, commonly known as floaters in the Coast Guard.
Well at least there will be some closure for that family. |
Poor kids.... poor families and friends ....God bless them all.

Three younger brothers - one just 5....that little guy must be hurting.

Just a shame that a bad judgement call by these kids resulted in 3 dead. Most of the time we get away with bad judgement calls (we get wet or look foulish but don't die) but in this case it was fatal. Just a shame.

NEWPORT -- The Coast Guard has recovered a body floating off Newport, just over a day after the body of one of three missing University of Rhode Island students was found off Point Judith.
