I talked to Bill and he said they have everything under control :D
I wished him luck anyway, not that he needs it. |
o tell you guys the truth, i have been a fan since the Bears killed us in 1985. I was 11 then, and I watched every year, every game, and had my heart broken over and over. When they won the first one I vowed then, that no matter what they did, they could never disappoint me, never. SO they went on to win two more! Now, no matter what happens, we have done it in a big way, and for the rest my my life no one can ever take that away from us. So, whatever happens, I just sit back and enjoy it all. We did what no other team could do, we put together a dynasty organization in the post cap era.

got that right Scott :btu:
I've been a fan since 1969 at 9 years old, got my first autographs at a Weymouth High School teachers vs. Patriot players basketball game. Been to every home playoff game since they hosted Jacksonville in the AFC championship game back in 96. I have confidence they will find the right combination of players and win another :D |
texans passing on reggie bush for mario williams ;o
|
I may sound crazy.....but I believe that was the better move....Mario Williams is a beast...this guy can change a teams defense and is a player that you can build around...Reggie Bush is an amazing player ..who will do well I'm sure.....but as you Pats fans should know...Defense Wins Championships!!

i dont think reggie bush quite fits in well with the argument of "other offensive players" this guy changes games in a more consistent manner then mario williams. an interesting stat on williams, 0 sacks in games against virginia tech, boston college and florida st. 10 sacks against wake forest, middle tennesee state and maryland.

pats take laurence maroney RB outta minnesota...with deangelo williams still on the board why not take him instead??
|
Is anyone else surprised the first three Pats picks were all on offense?
|
Thats great Dillion looked like he lost it, and they needed a game breaking receiver.

I'll ask Bill why they didn't take Williams instead. |
Nothing surprises me what the Pats do anymore..I cant wait till football season...Damn...:kewl:

kinda forgot that I started this thread.
I was a bit shocked with the Davin Joseph pick but maybe Tampa will an O line finally. Quote:

weren't the "experts" going on and on about how much of a reach trueblood was where he went, that he was overrated as a 2nd round pick? i dont have espn insider but heres the little analysis they have on him........
2 27(59) Jeremy Trueblood OT BOSTON COLLEGE Trueblood is the second offensive lineman the Bucs have chosen in as many picks thus far in the 2006 draft. While he certainly fits a position of need, we once again feel the Bucs reached for below-average talent with this selection. Complete analysis i'd think someone who's as hyped as mario williams should be able to beat anyone as overrated as trueblood? i think im rambling, its late but what im trying to get at is mario williams may not be as good as advertised if he cant even get a sack while up against what the experts feel is an overrated lineman |
