Have the studded boots for bare rocks and slime strap on the Korkers for the weed...it's perfect.

Korkers for me

If u need a wading shoe get the ones with the studs anyways.Neben uses the LL bean ones the have little CARBIDE studs in the felt thats a good combo. They also have a good waranty so's when they wearout u can have em replaced. It is important to use the carbide as the give a much better grip.If u are new to the rocks i would then reccomend wearing korkers on top of em.They can be a little cumbersome to walk with on the little head shaped round rocks but u won't slip.get used to the amount of grip u have an the when u get more comfy take them off an try the boots with the studs.I would still use the Korkers on any jetty's or any big slime covered rocks. This is not something to take lightly as a god fall could f U up badly.

like NIB said i use the LLbean studded aquastealth soles. they have 3 or 4 different boot styles. I also have korkers i can wear if i am wading in bubbleweed..
i wore my neoprene bootfoots with no spikes the other day and almost fell in the drink 5 different times because i am so used to my studs :hihi: best thing is.. when the boots wear out, you can send them back- no questions asked. |
