went to the dentist today....
 

i had an appointment at 9am this morning, to get a small cavity filled... so the guy gives me 2 shots of novocane at about 10 past 9.. its now, 12:25 in the afternoon.. it still hasnt worn off and its starting to hurt.. is there something wrong with that or what??

When I get novicaine it takes about 3-4 hours for the numbness to disappear. The pain......no idea unless it was a real bad cavity...you may have some soreness afterwards. Hope you feel better!:tooth:

thanks... its still numb, but its going away slowly... i deal with pain very well so that wont bug me..


- edit - its pretty much all gone now, but its like 5 hours later...

Takes awhile Katie....you should see me when I have a morning appointment for a filling.....I have not had my coffee yet and I am dying for a cup....so I wait until after my appointment for about an hour after the filling.......I need coffee bad so I get some and you should see me trying to drink hot coffee with half a numb mouth!:scream: :tm: :hihi: Its all running down my chin and face!!!:huh: Gotta have my coffee....so now I wait a few hours first...as hard as that is!:huh:
