Martha's Vinyard Help
 

I need a hotel/ motel/ rental for 6 or 8 guys for the weekend of 8/26.
I also need 2 charters 4 guys per....for that saturday. Anyone? Not a fancy place, somewhere we will not bother anyone if a few too many beers are consumed......

There are only two motels I know of on MV. The Vineyard Harbor in Vineyard Haven, and another one in Oak Bluffs (I think it's called the Harborside or something like that). The Vineyard Harbor is used to dealing with fishermen in the fall. I don't know how they'd be with a big group after a few beers in August, during the height of family vacation season. You'd probably be advised to start working on a reservation ASAP.

Most of the other lodging are B&Bs, inns, and the like.

There is also another motel in Edgartown called the Clarion I think.(http://www.clarionmv.com/) August is a killer month you might have problems getting a weekend rental. Check out MVOL.com
