Hand cutting jig--

When you need to cut a lip slot by hand this help to prevent denting.. A piece of PVC cut to size to hold the lenght of the plug so it can rest on the bottom of the vice with the lip area above. Two 1in holes drilled so your fingers can grip the plug inside. Wrap the plug with a piece of foam, 1/4--3/4 thick and insert in the PVC for a tight fit. Clamp the pipe tight in the vice and using your fingers to hold the plug steady make the cut.

I looked at the second picture and it looked like the saw was hooked up to the lathe. I thought "What the heck is that?" I've got to get out more.:bl:

When it comes to cutting my hand I usually don't use a jig. I seem to have no problem cutting it without one.:gorez: :smash:
