Carter Legislation to STOP Fishing Pier
 

What do you think about Rep-Carter,North Kingstown,Exerter to stop the construction of the Jamestown Fishing Pier? His bill,H8018, goes before the committee for a vote this Wednesday.
Carter is catering to a small group of RICH residents who live near the bridge and want public kept away! A fishing pier and park at that location could benefit all of Rhode Island, not just the few that live in the area!!!

I live in Carter's district and I've already written to him to tell him that I think it stinks. I also know Joe Scott who is also on the committee and I've told him the same thing. RI residents should e-mail every memeber of the committee ASAP!

Anyone get a reply back? I got a relpy from Rep Elizabeth Denningan. Dont know if that means they are going to build or not though.
