john,
how do the differ from the squid pencils or reg pencils?

JHABS 05-25-2006 08:05 PM

Jim , They are the same style as the 2.oz, These are the proto's , all different sizes. Also Multi color reflections in different light and angles...........

John, something along the lines of the Gibbs canal special (size/weight) would be cool. Caught TONS of good fish over the years on that pencil. Personally, I like a pencil to sit ass down and nose up in the water. I have never been a fan of pencils that work like a spook. I figure you buy a spook to work like a spook, not a pencil. For me, it needs to just barely float or even sink very slightly at rest. Just my personal findings. I'm sure you'll do them up right. Let me know when the bigger guys are ready for testing.

JHabs,
PM me when they're ready...I'd love to get a couple in the next couple of weeks..Me and Mikey hitting the Cape for 10 days in about a month and they would come in very handy!!!
Thanks,
Rick

I like the gibbs to its to bad u have to rewire it an change the swivel.
It works like a champ.3.25 oz an 7 inches long.just the snorkel out of the water.Of course i don't wanna tell u what to do.I know lots of folks like em lighter i basically have no use for those.

I used one of the "older" habs pencils and the head sat just below the surface and when you popped the lure it had crazy dancing action. I was able to cast into the teeth of the wind...one hell of a lure!

please let me know if you need a tester ;)
