Marine Mechanic

Can anyone recommend a good marine mechanic on the south shore of MA? If they do house calls, all the better. Thanks

I used this guy for my outboard on my sailboat. He mainly does small motors but he was honest and gave me a great price to fix a motor that wouldn't have been worth it at a dealership. His name is Bill, he works out of his house as a hobby. When I picked up my motor, I noticed that his garage was imaculate, always a good sign in my book. I don't know if he does larger motors but for $35/hr he is one heck of a good deal. This is his number 508-930-8099. Just say you got his name from steve with the Johnson 7.5 in chatham.

Good luck.

Thanks Sluggoslinger. My engine is rather large but I will contact Bill anyway. Thanks again.

Bruce at Berwick Marine in West Bridgewater has always taken care of me. Dont think they do house calls though. May be a tough time of year to get someone with everyone wanting to launch too.
