Reel seat for GSB120 1L??

I'm using an ABU 6500

I have a GSB120 1M and the 22 seems even a little big on that? Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Dave

p.s. I don't have a local shop here to go into and try them on.

I am hoping the 120 1L is ready to be picked up today....hoping the 1084 Arra is done by the time I go to Cuttyhunk in a couple weeks!:jump1:

BIG FISH, what's your favorite plug, jig or eel to toss with this stick?

I've been hearing the sweet spot is around 3 oz. I'm hoping it's a good eel and 3 oz pencil and 2-3 oz swimmer stick.

thanks for the reply

Yeah, you can throw up to 3 no problem....2 ounces is ideal...poppers, swimmers, dannies, spooks! 1 to 2 ounces for me.:tooth:

Its done! Picking it up today so I will let you know what size seat I have on mine!

I have a size 17 reel seat on mine....its great!:uhuh:

I'd go with a 20.

17 is pretty small for a 10 foot conventional. I've used 18, 20, 22 trigger seats on similar rods. The 20 is the most comfortable. Sometimes I cut 1/2 " off the threaded section of the seat to bring the foregrip closer to the front of the reel.

Get a tape on reel seat - They work just fine, and when you are 100% as to where you want the reel they can be wrapped right on the rod. I like the setup as I can change the reel position untill I am certain that it is home.:grins:

I agree with Saltheart..go with a 20.
