handling your fish this year. This seems pretty serious. Half of the Chesapeake poupulation of stripers has this bacteria! I'm assuming that they are talking about resident rockfish in the bay, but if the coastal migratory fish go into the bay to spawn, what does that mean :confused:

Thank you for the news about this microbacteria problem S.O.T.B.
That is Scary. Probabally do to agricultural runoff into the Chesapeak. Lots of fertilizer and organics dump into thr bay creating a perfect environment for bacteria. The striper population doesn't need any more threatening diseases.

the artical didn't mention anything about possible dangers to humans from consumption, if there are any??? this doesn't sound good:(
