Thanks Mike from Cape Cod Tackle

Just wanted to publicly thank you for the SU1209 you built over the spring. What an awesome canal jigger it is. I feel like I could tow a friggin' volkswagon with this thing! I've been able to test it w/ heavy jigs and a couple of mid size bass up to 25 pounds.

Glad you like it . We are cranking out a lot of rods this year.
My daughter even joined in now that Softball is over to help out. We should be all cought up in a week. Then I'm going to fish. Maybe see you out there.

Not to rob Twitchell's thread but that 1088 you built me over the Winter(from the BM raffle) is the cat's ass.It gets much use.

I've got the SU matched up w/ a Nautil 7500 and 50 lb braid. I can now toss a 5oz jig almost half way over from the east end and am able to get over the backwash and into the rip. It was nice to feel a couple of those 20 pounders w/ the head shakes and feeling a little drag getting taken. The rod is real slick, I don't feel like I've lost any of the touch and gained a ton of power. Again, thumbs up on the custom. Hope to stop by the shop one of these weekends. Glad to hear youre getting caught up and going to wet a line soon.

Oh, no worries BW.

Peter
