Where to find good fishin

Hello everyone,
I used to live and fish on the Vineyard and I now live in Somerville. I have some fabulous fishing spots on the island but that does me no good now. I want to get back into striper fishing but I just dont know where the hotspots are. I hear that the best place is around the Cape Cod canal but I am hoping that you guys can point me to a general area that is more convenient but just as productive. I would prefer north shore area but I am just not familiar with the terrain.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Brad

Take a ride and look for spots like you are use to fishing. Buy a chart
and study it. Don't bother asking bait shops. because if they fish the last thing they will tell you is where there honey hole is!!! They just give you that blank look!

Right Pete hehehe Or look for lobster pots Bass eat lobster!

Welcome to the site!

I grew up in Medford. Right now you can find stripers in the mystic river .You can try the river from the mystic lakes all the way down to the Amelia Earheart Dam. If you want to fish the ocean you can hit Revere Beach or Nahant.East boston has some good spots too. Look up Google map and you can get a satalite photos of the areas and find accessable spots.
