Not too early to get ready !!!! I have a V-Bar to make up yet, and I have one BIG spreader bar ready to go with the various stingers I made. Bummer about the macs. (But I still have a secret spot or two) Lookin to take a couple of days at the end of the week. (Back permiting.):af: :af: Got to make more chum in me grinder too....:gorez: |
sweet
Nice rigs Van
I wanna chase footballs some this year. Do you guys prefer chains or spreader bars? Any sponsors here sell components? if not, where to buy? |
I think bars are the way to go. Bigger presentation to draw the fish up. A bar in essence is 3 or 5 chains run in tandem. Chains catch but so do bars. When commotion and visual display is at a premium offshore the bar is hard to beat. A chain WWB off the center rigger is a great choice though.

Saltwater Edge (Sponsor) sells complete bars, with bag for $69. Not much more than what the components cost retail, and cheaper than alot of other shops. -jay |
I'm gonna drag bars straight and Vee, daisy chains and plugs. I'll drag the kitchen sink if it will catch fish!!!!!!!!!
|
May you be invisible to the bluefish! :eek5:
