Block Island run off

I was wondering how the water is going to be there since all the rain and the run off turns the water a nice brown clay color, Does this last long and go away with the tides or is it something that stays around? and how does it affect the fishing?

bob i will send you a PM tonigt about alll that i did and observed out there- the bluff run offs usually clear up after 1 or 2 days if there has been heavy rains i have been told.

It is usually a few days, as Nebe said. I was there once when it rained so much that the part of the cliffs came down overnight. I was very happy that I was not there when that happened. Even if it is muddy in one spot, there are so many other spots that won't be.
