Ohhhh Sheeet....King Cove gives birth to the....Basic Yak

Now that I am single again. I figure I need somthing to fill my time between Boat/charter fishing, Surf Fishing, Skishing, Writing and Fisheries Politics.

This being said, Don and the crew down at LKing cove hooked up the Basic one real nice with a grrrreeeeaaaatttt deal on a used Ocean (Scupper Pro TW) Kayak. A nip here and a tuck there and by the end of the week I will launch the "Basic Yak". I cna not lim it thae amount of praise I have for the top quality service and assistance given me by Nils, Don and all down at King cove. This shop is a S-B Sponsor and I reccomment it to all my S-B bruddas.

Now some of my friends think I am crazy because I do so much fishing already. However, I think of the Yak just like I think of my fly rod. You see a wise man once said when referring to his fly rod that a fly rod, is "just another weapon in the truck". And this my friends, is how I see the Yak.

Let's see. Toddy Rocks, The Cohasset shoreline (to hell with the rich anti access bastids now), The Doctors Island, and many many more. Can't you see it. Park at the Squibby parking lot. Paddle down to the Bass Stand. fish all night, and paddle back with a Derby winna.

Ok, I am acting out. I admit it. Let's go fishin.

Week 1 at the Basic fishing Shack might just see 4 yaks...Basic, anglah, surfpirate & now springtides???? Oh yeah baby...good times this summer....Basic is going off th ehook starting July 1st
