CPES epoxy--
Anybody ever use it as a wood sealer? Supposedly has the consistencey of water, a pot life of 4 hours and can be painted on with an over night dry. Just wonder how the acrylics would adhere to it.

Never used it but if you primed first it should be fine me thinks.

You will probably need to give it a light dusting with 240 paper before you prime.

JPI,
Use the primer we have talked about and you will not have problems.:faga: Bernzy |
yep, I have done it. I even heated up the blanks first in a toaster oven like NIB does, but that is probably why the ones I did like that sink instaed of just float. Ya have to use a good primer.
when I made my plywood and epoxy boat, it required 2 part epoxy primer before I could put on the finish paint, reg. one part primer may have caused troubles but for plugs I think you can get away with something simple, and if Bernzy said so then I'd go with what he says. |
As usual, Thanks for everyone's input. :btu:
