Felt Soles @ the Ditch
I have felt soles but have always slipped Korkers over them when fishing the Ditch. Besides the bubble seaweed... you guys foresee any problems with just going felt sole?
they're ok on some of the rock... really dependant on where you are along the canal
I love the felt soles in the ditch. like mentioned stay offa the bubble weed.
Korkers and felt soles wont help if you step on a "see-saw" rock and take a header.
I just started using the Korkers. For years, I used Felt Soles and like them. Only reason I tried Korkers was for the bubble weed. Other than that, I trusted the felt soles, no issue

I'm trying to cut back on excess gear this year and travel light. You think you'll need this, and then that... and pretty soon you're stuffing your whole collection into your plug bag. I'll keep the Korkers in the trunk in case I realize I need them.

Have never had the need to wear korkers there

Felt soles are fine on just wet rocks, but if there's any kinda weed or slime on those rocks they're useless. Use some spiked wading boots or some korkers to be safe.
