June On The Water add
 

Did anyone notice that on the add on the bottom of the inside of the first page, the boat on the bottom shown with 3 motors has the third motor superimposed into the pic... Isn't that some sort of false advertising?

no different than air brushing the chub off of models legs :D

Probably one third of boat pictures I have seen in dealer adds the outboard is added after the fact. Some of the funnier ones are scaled wrong or twisted wrong to show of the outboard label. Occasionally you can even see that they removed one outboard manufacturer and added a different one. I'm guessing that the dealers are creating their own ads and doing this low quality photoshop work...

This is not limited to OTW either.

Some of it is really bad... but entertaining as well..

There was alot of that when Evinerude had the Ficht issue. Every add was superimposed with any other motor but a Ficht.
