teasers

how often do you use teasers and what is your favorite...
I have caught a lot of fish on black red gills, and some on feather and or bucktail teasers...usually on a dropper loop in front of bombers... I like fishing danny plugs and am going to try teasers... any info welcome!!! Thanks

I like the white red-gills and a danny/teaser combo has always treated me well.

I won a bunch of weezer's teasers last year and they are doing great. Chartruese and white ahead of a bomber, mombo, A-H swimmer, storm shad, or hopkins shorty. Nothing too big on them. I start out every trip with a teaser to make sure there is no skunking going on.

Everytime I use redgills the tails brake off, I;ve tried different size hooks and it still happens.
I tie a killer teaser, its black saddle hackle, black bucktail, blue bucktail back and a few strands of black flash. They're about 5 inches long and kill the bass at night.

I use teasers at certin times of the year. In the fall when we get the rainbait i use them alot, and early in the season. I like redgills, the purplish color ones, i also use big feather ones i tie in the fall, theve taken some decent fish for me over the years but i really dont use them as much as i shud.
