Boat rod suggestions.
 

7 1/2 to 8 foot.
Conventional casting (with trigger grip)
needs to throw up to 2 1/2 oz.

Any reccomendations?

factory rod preferred (don't wanna wait on a custom)

st. croix premier or avid musky rod rated for 17-40 lb. test. i use the premier and it is very nice.

penn power stick 3722. got two of them i like them. mine are 7' imho there not beefey enough for large bass, good fluke-flounder rod but they got the trigger grip. i have a 965 on one and a 975 on the other
