There were enough brand new Lobster traps to outfit a commercial lobster boat washed up on Cuttyhunk this past weekend.

You could start there.:uhuh:

Christian, I burnt three wood traps, brand new, that I had in my ched for the last ten years. Too bad......Asked a bunch of people but no one wanted to mess around with three wood traps. Too heavy. Very well-made though

wood traps absorb water and weigh about 200lbs after sitting on the bottom for a week.

i handpulled one ONCE
NEVER again.
