Humminbird FF Question

Is there a way to keep the light on on the monchrome displays..??

MATRIX 67 I believe is my model.
I hit the power button to keep the light on but it brings up a window that takes up the middle of the screen and Im not sure how to exit that without shutting the light off?

hit quit. or clear.
my buds raytheon is the same way.
tap power then the light on/off window opens. tap right arrow to turn the light on then clear to close the window.

i'll double check but i thought if i hit "quit" it just the light off as well as close the window.... wish they made it obvious...errrr maybe they do.

I think if you hit "power", then adjust the brightness and hit quit, it'll stay on. I forget off hand, but it is something like that.

according to the matrix 67 manual... and i quote...

To turn the backlight on for nightfishing, or to adjust the display contrast, press the power light key to access the Light and Contrast menu. Use the 4 way key pad to select light or contrast, then use left or right cursor to change settings. Press exit to exit menu.

Maybe they did make it obvious and I am :tm:
