Not much / none inshore other than a spot report of fish there one minute and gone. Not exactly inshore either...

When was the date last season they showed up in numbers...late July?

Mid July, in concentrated numbers anyways. I don't really think the calander date has anything to do with it though.

Saw a good sized school at the R2 off Brenton Reef already this year and that was the 2nd week of June, but we didn't have anything to keep them fed with then. Classic happy tuna, clearing the water but not actually feeding. Bonito were also in the fish traps that week too.

Now we've got the bait but for the moment no fish. They're not far away though, relatively.

I had a report of some BFT really close in over the weekend. Most of the fish still seem to be south of Block Island though.
