Any CT boat fisherman?

Good afternoon all.
I'm new to posting in this group but my Dad (Bob senior)has been a member for a while. I Live in Deep River CT and have been fishing the coast between CT River and Hammonasset point for the first time this year. I finaly struck gold at nun #8 east of Hammonasset this Sunday morning with 24", 28" and 33" stripers.

My question is if there are any CT boat guys around would any of you care to share some locations in that general area or a little north that have been known to produce?

Thank you

Bob Junior

From Deep River head down the Ct river to the mouth. Head out towards the east to get to Hatchett's Reef. It is about two miles east of the Saybrook lighthouse. Head almost directly south out of the river and you'll hit Long Sand Shoal. Head directly west about two miles out of the river and you can fish Cornfield Point. All very productive areas. Three waying eels at night, trollling tube and worm and even chunking will do the trick.

Thank you!

Thank you!
I have hit Cornfield point a few times but was unaware of the two spots South and East that were so close. They will be first on the next voyage.
Thanks again
