OK - Just bit the Bullet....
And I have ordered a new server for Striped-Bass.com. While this one has been still pretty quick (most of the time) it is getting a couple years old and time to upgrade. The new server will be faster (Dual Core) with more memory, RAID, faster drives and all kinds of good network geek stuff. The network will be closer and faster for the vast majority (if not all) of us.
What does this mean? Mostly, a pretty easy transition will take place in a couple weeks. We'll have more room to add some nice stuff for you members (I have a couple interesting things I'm working on). Thanks! John |
Does that mean I will reach 20,000 posts quicker and with less interruption? :laugha:
