can you go under the jtown bridge at night yet?
 

anyone know? I am trying to look up the notice to mariners, but can't find the most recent.

found the most recent notice, it doesn't say anything about nightime transit. Am I good? I am going stir crazy with the new baby, and the wife gave me the green light to start taking a few night trips...

RI – NARRAGANSETT BAY – WEST PASSAGE – Bridge Demolition – Bridge demolition work continues at the old Jamestown Bridge at mile 5.7, acrossNarragansett Bay (West Passage) at North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The main navigation channel is now free of debris and partially open to limited vessel traffic.
Materials barges and crane barges are working at various locations. The Coast Guard has established a temporary 300 foot channel extending 150 feet from each side of the centerline of the main channel. The channel is marked with green buoys on the west side and red buoys on the east side. Mariners should exercise extreme cautionwhile transiting the area.

sometimes the patrol boat is around =sometimes not ;;;

I know someone that got stopped in the beginning of the season & got a 45 minute inspection :::

But last night /there was a boat actually fishing the shadow line --that,s pushing it :angel:
