Basic Tuna with Captain Alan--a day in words & pics
 

I left my home in Dedham MA at 1:30 am, loaded with excitement. I arricved in Chatham at 3:30 and met my good friend Captain Alan to spend a day Tuna fishing.

The wind was down and the forecast was good.

The Sunrise was beautiful...

The Whales were awesome...

The Whales were everywhere

A few times, the Tuna were on top

Captain Alan scores first...45" fish (guestinated at 50 pounds released to live again....

My fish sounded at the boat and gave me some trouble....Blue Fin are so darn strong

Basic success...right aqbout the 47 inch limit...estimated 57-60 pounds...fish released

Good firends, good fishing, good weather, escape from Monday's heat....tell me something....does it get any better than this????

Unfortunately it is not....it is a smaller version we are playing with...the best features from a few different plastics.
