Montauk to MV

I will be moving a boat from LI to MV later this week. I ws thinking of bringing a couple tuna rods "just in case". While I can't troll or cast all day I can stop for a while if I see some action. Has anyone done much of anything along this path recently?

thanks in advance

Go East of Block around 10 miles... Oceantemps.com has some real warm water there... in the 74 degreish range. There has been some Cobia in the Race (Long Island) for the firas time in years!

Sandy, Yes bring the rods and run down the 800 or 750 line, put the lines in when you get offshore of the west side of BI.

MTC,
there have been cobia caught of the Center wall off Pt. Jude.
