The Herring After...

...Ok, so the Herring come into the rivers, up the streams, thru the ladders...and into the ponds, lakes, etc...
...After they spawn, they head back out. My question is this. What happens to the "Fry" ???

....do they come out by the masses or as they hatch individually?...at a certain size? or a certain time?...would they make the "Runs" a productive spot to fish again when they come out?...sort of like the peanutpunker phase of the season...I've tried researching this information...but haven't come up with many conclusive answers. I'd imagine that when they exit the runs it would be in great numbers, and thus make them a bit productive again, especially if its at a certain time each year. I'm sure the Stripers know, but they ain't talkin...

...I'm a "see it to believe it" kind of guy...so if you know the answer, please give the scoop on where you found it.

Thanks in advance ~ Bloo ~
