anyone use teak for plugs? seen some on e-bay, there's olive wood from the holyland for sale too. anyone tried olivewood? would the devil's bluefish eat a holyplug:sled:

yeah,, it works. makes some seriusly sweet looking plugs. but i wouldnt fish them.
exotic woods are tough to cut.seal. prime . paint. clearcoat....
stick to AYC and poplar :hidin:

Teak is a very hard wood. Not worth the wear and tear on the tools IMHO.
