Sketterpops green head thread got me thinking about bugs. These are the ones I hate. They're everywere where I fish, can't put an eel bag down for a minute without 20 getting in it. I even have to shake them out of the plug bag at the end of the night. :yak4:

Earwigs. More of a nuisance than anything else. No harm to humans. Basically munch on other dead insects and rotting/dead plants.:smash:

Isn't it amazing how fast the little buggers can get all over your gear?

its amazing how quick they can find the little gap left when you zip up a soft cooler with eels in it, I had about 20 in the cooler after puting it down for 5 minutes to tie on a new leader and pound a redbull. I don't know why but I feel bad for the eels (who I'm about the smack on a rock and shove a hook down their thoat) when the earwigs are crawing on them.

With all the rain we had spring and early summer its been a banner year for many insects..... earwigs and spiders are in the lead currently.

Another favorite is those black flies that look like a small housefly and in the daytime on beaches like to eat human flesh. F..K they can bite :hihi:
