Pogies on the bottom on a fishfinder, about a half hour into the east. I threw jigs (white bucktail) and a 3 ounce blue and white atoms polaris. Nothing.
They were really feeding on the little bait/baby herring. nice to see. I'm still talking to myself about that big one ...SxxT. I might go again Friday afternoon. Man there were alot of fish there today, breaking right at our feet. |
How was the west and what the big come on?
|
CanalGuy, Go tomorrow and tell me. I got there about an hour before the change to the east. The schools appeared about 15 minutes later. We left about 7:00, so we fished about 2 1/2 hours with bait .
pogie chunks. There were 4 or 5 boats fishing the schools around the Bourne bridge. The canal patrol came and chased them away. |
Congratualtions but, does anyone here realize that a 38 inch fish should weigh at least 8 to 10 pounds more than that?
|
Not if it has teeth and a forked tail, Flap.
