I would seriously consider the Point Judes http://pointjudelures.com - not only is he a sponsor here and a smaller manufacturer - his stuff seriously catches.

Plus they are available at many local tackle shops - even in Jersey.

they are both sponsors here, help thosr who help us

The guys are quite right!! When possible you should support the sites and site sponsors that you visit. These guys put out a lot of valuable information and provide a place for all to share. I consider this kind of support the price of admission:)

I wasn't set on buying from there, just wondering about the products alone. Which would catch blue fish and also the stripers when they're in season?

newbie14 08-14-2006 05:50 PM

I bought some of his little eel thingy's today at my local tackle shop! Can anyone point me in the direction for catching blues and stripers(once they're back in-season)?

newbie14 08-14-2006 05:55 PM

Well I think it's made by him..

those spoons will work for you, but upgrade the hooks on them.

Will the bluefish destory them? Also, will stripers goo for them?

Possibly, and yes, most likely, the strippers will goo for them

JohnR 08-15-2006 01:36 PM

Sure - they'll certainly work...

As far as point you to where - I don't know your waters but a lot of tins/jigs like to be cast and bounced on the sand especially around/along rips and structure.

Boat or shore?

newbie14 08-15-2006 03:06 PM

I will be surf fishing the jersey shore. Sea Isle City/Cape May...

RickBomba 08-15-2006 05:35 PM

I can't believe somebody found something the strippers will goo for.
Can ya sign me up?
Thanks,
Rick
