Tip of the day
Don't let your cellphone go through a FULL cycle in the 'ol washer machine. They tend not to work to well after that kind of trauma.:splat:
|
Ouch. :(
|
let it dry out completely before trying to turn it on.
it just MIGHT survive. (unless it went through the dryer) |

It actually now works. The only malfunction is that the only noise it will now make is static.Static doesn't make a great ringtone. |
I dropped my first cell phone in the drink within the first week. REALLY not wanted to fess up that I ruined it in such short time (and while I was fishing) I proceeded to pull it apart and try drying it out in by sticking it in front of the heater in the car.....it took a while but it finally worked! I would imagine a hairdryer or something of the sort would work just as well if not better. Hey its worth a shot!!!
..oh and by the way, that phone and battery lasted me for about three more years! |
