RISAA Monthly meeting
Storm Strategies For Surf Stripers
with Steve McKenna Steve McKenna is, without question, one of Rhode Island’s best and most knowledgeable surfcasters. He has been fishing the surf since the early 70s, and his fishing territory includes Cape Cod, Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island’s South Shore and Block Island. Steve is a proud member of the Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Association. he currently writes for On The Water magazine. When not out fishing, he can usually be found behind the sales counter at Quaker Lane Bait & Tackle in North Kingstown. Experienced anglers know that weather effects fishing, and knowing how and when to fish a storm front can bring success, especially in the Fall.
