They are fun on light tackle. FWIW, I've got some friends coming in from California in Sept just to fly fish for blues. "What about bass or albies?" I asked. Nope, they have bass and real albacore tuna to chase back there. They want to catch some of Clammer's favorite fish:hidin:

As far as Bluefish go...World Famous Lefty Crey comes here every September to fish with Jim White for Blues on his flyrod, He said told Jim That in fishing all over the whole world he thinks what we have here is world class....Dont appreciate what we have in our own backyards I guess....

We must have caught 60 "dogs" yesterday, it really was fun out there...

Ok so I'm over the boat thing for the most part with you two, but now fishing during the day for blues... geeezzz... LOL.. looks like you guys had a blast, thanks for the pics.
seriously though, when I told some guys at a B&T in Hawaii that I was from Massachusetts and fished for stripers, they kind of shrugged it off and then said "Yeah, but you got those bluefish over there too, those things are great!"

We as fisherman should not be killing fish because we don`t like them. Its just not a good thing. It goes against everything a true sportsman / fisher should believe in and practice.
