-- George Castanza I traveled the RI coastline to find some fishable water today and although I did get to throw a few casts on the west side of Beavertail Point, I eventually opted for the camera instead of the surf rod. Here’s a photo essay that reveals what it was like during a hard blow from the east. The first stop was Beavertail where the sky was still somewhat bright, but the sea foam was filling every east facing cut. continued.... |

The next stop was near Quonnochontaug where the beaches were being torn up by high tide in conjunction with high winds from the east.

This beach took a hit. Fresh Pond Rock was in the teeth of the storm.
