Charlestown B'way Slow Yesterday...

But I didn't really care, was nice just to wet a line on a beeyotiful day. And I stuffed myself as usual @ Batik Garden. Can't complain.

Crowded as usual.

Some of the bait dunkers were having luck on schoolies out front...with...clam bellies. :smash:

I'm hearing the worm hatch ain't happening yet on the pond side...that true?

There were a couple threads that had the worms heating up in the PJ Ponds. The conditions were good for C-Town (full moon, several days of relatively hot sun) , maybe they've started too....

No dice up at Mill Cove in Warwick. Got down (after watching the end of Celts - Yeh baby)

Got a couple whacks right away but then nuttin....

Its been a lame year for the worm hatch in Charlestown. Bad combination of weather and moon etc. Most years it goes on for the whole month of may in different areas in the pond but this year its very isolated up in the back of one cove. Things are picking up so we'll see what happens. Definately not as many spring fish around C'town as in years past.

Well, I guess there weren't many fish this spring @ C-Town to start with.

But you can't beat the scenery. :D :p :laughs:

I guess the real worm hatch is @ Pt. Judith.
