watch hill/ fishers
 

fished down south thursday-saturday in the watch hill fishers island area. had a great time with the best fishing being thursday evening. mostly fishing in 50 feet of water with a bucktail live herring three way. fish ranged from 10 pounds to 35+. headed out around newport tonight to see whats happening. it was great to see some big fish.

I have yet to hit the reef at Watch Hill this season, looks like it might be time to give it a shot.....

john had a few eels with me. they also produced well. only kept one fish and he had some eels in him and a baby fluke. ;) ;) herring did better mid day.
