Fantastic Fishing

Two days of some fantastic fishing at a southern Cape Cod Bay location. Today was my best day this year with many, many large fish caught. All tube and worm. Non stop action all day. Lucky enough to see a fellow site member out there too, Outnumbered, Kevin. Glad you had some luck too. It is great to be able to get out during the week. Off to work on 3 hours sleep, this is going to be fun. Paul

If there were ever that many boats fishing in one spot in narragansett bay....guns would be drawn and the first shot would be by Clammer.:wall:

Gone bye bye as of Sun. Reason for the close quaters is the area is only as big as 2 football fields and the fish are within that area only. Add 100 lobster pots and everyone draggin tubes it can get a little crazy, but to land 30 plus pound fish every 10 min. it is worth it. It is very civil fishing as everyone knows the rules, most anyway. Weekdays are much better as that was taken on Sat. which normally I would have avoided but with fish of that size and quanity you go when they are there. The ufo is some crap on my lense. P.

man the battle ships full speed ahead.... how many boats were there paul????my bud told me it was jamed and no fish

ProfessorM 09-20-2006 11:23 AM

Dave during the week is was great maybe 15 boats max. a real pleasure. Sat maybe 30 but plenty of fish for all. I didn't bother Sun. but heard it was packed and no fish. I called you on the radio Sat. but figured you went after tuna being the weather was so nice. Can't beat weekday fishing. P.

They are back. Going to be tough getting them this weekend as they are calling for gust's to 30 both days. P.
